Richard Gibney has been working as a strength and conditioning coach for over 12 years. He currently provides the strength and conditioning programming for a number of athletes competing at the National, World, and Olympic level. Below are a few examples of his experience:

With the sport of badminton Richard is able to bring an insiders perspective. Having played badminton on the Canadian National Circuit, and spending time abroad with coaches from Malaysia, China and Denmark gives Richard a unique understanding of the physical demands of badminton.
He holds a Bachelors Degree in Physical Education with a concentration in Exercise Physiology and is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association. He is also a level 2 certified badminton coach through the National Coaching Certification Program.
By combining his practical experience and knowledge of sport science, Richard has created an integrated training system that balances performance, injury prevention and recovery. The end result of this system is the development of high performing, durable athletes with long successful careers.
