BMX Training

BMX, an abbreviation for bicycle motocross, is a cycle sport performed on BMX bikes, either in competitive BMX racing or freestyle BMX, or else in general on- or off-road recreation.

The sport of BMX originated in America in the early 1970s. It was designed as a stepping stone for kids to get into motocross, and quickly blew up into a sport in its own right.

Now an Olympic sport, BMX epitomizes the complexity of sports conditioning as it requires strength, power and endurance in the physical realm, and involves multiple skill sets with a need for both narrow and broad mental focus.

A BMX training program is invaluable not only for the BMX racer, but for any athlete who wants to learn how to efficiently train for their sport.
